Mary Katherine Brown, 64, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on March 23, 2015.
She was a senior lead clinical manager at Caretenders Home Health. Mary was a very caring, loving and passionate person especially with her family, she was always willing to stop and help anyone in need regardless how busy she might be. Her professionalism and knowledge was remarkable. Her peers looked to her as a mentor.
Mary was born on June 26, 1950 in Memphis, Tennessee to the late James and Mary (Partridge) Baker. She was also preceded in death by step-father, Jones Smith and her nephew, Jimmy Baker.
Mary is survived by her husband of 33 years, Monroe Brown; daughters, Angela (James) Boyd, Phelicia Brown, Tarina (William) Laxton, son, Thomas Brown, brother, James (Patricia) Baker, step-sisters, Sarah Richerson and Girlene Richerson. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Shane White, Alex Boyd, George Boyd, Stephen Brown, Leah Bolden, Brooklynn Elzy, and Michael Laxton.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville).
Her graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 1:00pm CST in Melrose Cemetery in Whiteville, Tennessee.
