Mary "Roseann" (McKinley) Hurst, 73, of Borden, Indiana, went home on Saturday, July 21, 2018. She was a member of Daisy Hill United Methodist Church in Borden and loved reading, painting, gardening, and being with her grandchildren.
She was born on April 24, 1945, in Borden, Indiana, to the late Waldo F. and Harriett I. (Standiford) McKinley. Along with her parents, Roseann was preceded in death by her daughter, Lori Klein; and brothers, Ralph and Joe McKinley.
Roseann is survived by her husband of 57 years, Eldon D. Hurst; son, Richard "Rick" Hurst (Mattie); 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; son-in-law, David Klein; and siblings, Brenda Hurst (Mike), Cliff McKinley, and Otis McKinley (Sharon).
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 26, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150). Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 27, 2018, at the funeral home with burial to follow in Daisy Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Daisy Hill United Methodist Church (22803 Daisy Hill Road, Borden, Indiana 47106).
