Mary Ann Hobbs , 80, of Loganville, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2021.
She was born on April 12, 1941 in Griffytown, Kentucky and raised by Luther and Irene (Phelps) Hinkle. She is preceded in death by her adopted father, Luther Hinkle and adopted mother, Irene Hinkle; daughter, Malanie Renee Hobbs.
Mary is survived by her loving Husband of 51 years, Bargie Lee Hobbs; children, Lyssa (Wesley) Mixon and Luther (Tamesha) Hobbs; grandchildren, Kristofer Hobbs, Terrance Dumel-Hobbs, Malik Mixon, and Lu'Mechia Hobbs; siblings, Jesse Hinkle, Jr., Brenda Hinkle, Donnell Hinkle, Sherrie Williams, Gregory (Diane) Hinkle, Vanessa Moody, and Janice Hinkle; family friend, Marjorie Warren.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Friday, June 18, 2021 at Joshua Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church, (426 S 15th St. Louisville, KY 40203). Her Celebration of Life Service will be at 12:00 pm on Friday, at Joshua Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church with Cremation to follow.
In Lieu of flowers please bring Bargie a card of encouragement as he goes through time of grief.
