Mary Elizabeth Haycraft

April 19, 1947 — February 24, 2019

Mary Elizabeth Haycraft, 71, passed away on February 24, 2019. Her favorite hobbies were fishing, shopping, crocheting and playing BINGO. Mary was one of a kind, unique, feisty and very well spoken. She cared about every one with her big heart. She was devoted to her family and friends and spending time with them was very important to Mary.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John & Myrtle Teague and brothers, Eugene, Leon and Jerry.

Mary is survived by her husband, Douglas Haycraft; children, Lisa (James Martin) Skaggs, Kimberly (Chris) Cohen and Ashley (John) Barr; grandchildren, Jacque, Kaylyn, Jessica and Kreighton, great-grandchildren, Naomi, Zyus. Destiny and Chole; sisters, Ruth, Carol, Pat and Sharon; brother, Johnny and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 27, 2019, from 3pm-8pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY. A celebration of Mary's life will be Thursday, February 28, 2019, beginning at 11am.

A graveside service will follow at Bethany Cemetery, 10917 Dixie Hwy, Valley Station, KY 40272.
