Mary Plymale Garst, 101, of Prospect, KY, passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2018.
She was born April 7, 1917, in Kenova, West Virginia to the late William Plymale and Leah Malcolm Plymale.
Mary graduated from Marshall University and taught home economics until she became a mother and homemaker.
She is survived by her two sons, Edwin Garst (Karen), and Daniel Garst, MD (Jenny); as well as her three grandchildren, James (Jennifer), David (Hannah), and Claire; and also by four great grandchildren, Ethan, Katelyn, Charlotte, and Lincoln.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Garst, and also her first husband , Woodrow Radcliff who died in WWII.
Visitation will be from 9:30 -11:30 am on Saturday, November 17, 2018, at Christ Church United Methodist, 4614 Brownsboro Road. A funeral service will follow at 11:30 am on Saturday at Christ Church United Methodist, with private burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park in Louisville, KY.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions in Mary's memory be made to the charity of your choice.
