Mary Eva (Parris) Jones, 86, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, July 10, 2025.
She was born on April 29, 1939 in Monticello, Kentucky to Robert and Argolia (Barnes) Parris. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her brothers, Vergil Norman, Robert Jr., James, John, Billie Parris; and sisters, Dorothy Williams and Lovie Parris.
Mary is survived by her daughters, Tara Jones, Dorothea Kincaid; sister, Edith Walker-Wilson (Daniel); brother, Jimmy Parris (Princess); and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Mary's wish was to be cremated. A memorial service honoring her life will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany).
