Mary Lee Douglas, 99, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2019.
She was born on January 15, 1920 in LaGrange, Kentucky to the late Edward and Melvina (Pennington) Cunningham. She is also preceded in death by her husband Walter W. Douglas, brothers Raymond Cunningham, Robert Cunningham, James Cunningham, John Cunningham, sister Edna Cain, granddaughter Maria L. Palmer and daughter-in-law Carol E. Douglas.
Mary Lee is survived by her son, Walter E. Douglas, daughter, Patty J. Davis, four grandchildren Roger Brown, Karen Brown, Tracy Yurt, Bryon Douglas, three great-grandchildren Gary Kevin Yurt, Jr., Justin E. Yurt and Meredith J. Yurt.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Monday, January 28, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions East Louisville, (235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY 40243).
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at the funeral home with burial to follow at Valley of Rest Cemetery in LaGrange, KY.
