Mary Rose Crain

Mary Rose Crain , 89, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2021. Mary was a member of Rockfordview United Baptist Church and attended regularly as long as she could. Her husband Donnie was a United Baptist Minister and they traveled many miles together. Mary was a prayer warrior for those in need, and helping many to be saved. Mary mostly enjoyed hearing her Daughter, Judy sing songs of praise with the Rockfordview Trio. She was a prankster, loved to have fun with her friends and family, and her "Shouts & Testimonies" will be missed by all who knew her.

She was born on February 6, 1932 in Marion County, Kentucky to Sylvester and Bessie (Hill) Malone. She is preceded in death by her Husband, Donnie Roger Crain, Parents, Daughter & Son-In Law, Judy & Patrick Crecelius, and Sisters, Minnie Daugherty and Renner Kincaid.

Mary is survived by her loving Sons, Roger A (Alene) Crain, and Doug (Cindy) Crain, Sisters, Earlene Fowler, and Leona Sprinkle, and Sister-In Law, Marlene Vincent. Mary also leaves behind to cherish her memory 7 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren, and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Friends, and Extended Family.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, January 3, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Visitation will resume on Tuesday from 11:00 until the time of her services at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at the Rockfordview United Baptist Church (2511 Wilkerson Ave, Louisville). Graveside services will be held at 1:30 pm Central Time on Tuesday, January, 4, 2022 at the Mumfordsville Municipal Cemetery.
