Mary E. Burwell , 91, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on March 23, 2018. She retired from Campbell Tobacco and was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church.
Mary was born on August 6, 1926, Louisville, Kentucky to the late Alexander and Mary Henry. She was also preceded in death by her Son, Jerome Burwell.
Mary is survived by her children, Joann Griffith, Charles W. Burwell (Patti), Leroy Burwell (Joycelyn), Loretta Burwell, Grandchildren, Erika Griffith, Leland Burwell, Nicky Ford (Donnell), Laquana Johnson (Bryson), Djuan Watkins, Bryshawn Johnson, Brynya Johnson. Great-Grandchildren, Eve C Griffith, Joshua Jackson, Cameron Jones, Casey Ford, Cori Ford, Great-Great-Grandson, Justus Griffith, Sisters, Rosetta Bullitt, Margaret Wright, and her Brother, William Henry.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at St. Augustine Catholic Church. A celebration of Mary's life will be held Tuesday at 12:00 pm at St. Augustine Catholic Church.
