Mary "Chris" Brashear, 83, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on October 21, 2015. Chris loved gardening, animals, and children.
Chris was born on March 9, 1932, Webster County, Kentucky to the late Curlin and Rosha Coffman. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Janell Jarboe; son, Barry Brashear; grandson, James Matthew Eisenmenger; brothers, Tommy Coffman, Vernon "Bud" Coffman, and James Coffman.
Chris is survived by her daughter, Karen Eisenmenger (Karl); sisters, Nina Rhodes, Wilma Brown, and Paula Presser; brother, Larry Coffman; and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm Friday, October 23, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville). Her Funeral Ceremony will be held Friday at 1:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - East Louisville with burial to follow at Cave Hill Cemetery (701 Baxter Avenue, Louisville)
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Animal Care Society (12207 Westport Rd, Louisville, KY 40245).
