Mary Beth Bumbalough Emory passed away on July 4, 2025 at the age of 72. Mary Beth was born on July 13, 1952 in Nashville, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold Ellis Bumbalough and Frances Wright Bumbalough. Following her graduation from Hillsboro High School in Nashville, she attended Samford University and later settled in Mississippi where she worked in the Mississippi Secretary of State’s office.
Mary Beth will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, cherished friend, and avid Alabama football fan. She loved her many pets — including the numerous cats and dogs who made their home with her through the years. Mary Beth was a friend to everyone she met and had an outgoing spirit and was always ready to have fun.
Mary Beth is survived by her husband, Paul; son, Robbie Quinn (Gemma); son, Matt Quinn, as well as six grandchildren, Ella Quinn, Palin Quinn, Livia Quinn, Hadley Quinn, Skyler Quinn, and Lawson Quinn; brother, Hal Bumbalough (Carol); nephew, Andrew Bumbalough (Anne) and niece Laura Bradley (Tyler); four great-nieces and nephews; and numerous beloved cousins.
Visitation will be from 4 pm to 8 pm on Thursday, July 17, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243. A celebration of Mary Beth's life will be there on Friday, July 18th at 11am.
