Mary D. Barnett, 75, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, March 18, 2019.
She was born on May 1, 1943 in White Mills, Kentucky to the late Joseph and Vera Skees. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Earl Hart Barnett.
Mary is survived by her three daughters, Susan Nation, Christina Love and Janice Arndt (Michael); grandchildren, Derek Johnson, Jr. (Lizzie), Justin Pettyjohn, Damon Johnson, Andrea Zelli and Caroline Nation; four step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and five step great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 3 pm to 8 pm on Monday, March 25, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions East Louisville Chapel (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243). A funeral service to honor the life of Mary will be held at 10 am on Tuesday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Jeffersontown Cemetery.
The family requests that contributions in Mary's memory be made to WHAS Crusade for Children.
