Mary Ann Anderson

Mary Ann Anderson, a beloved resident of Louisville, Kentucky, was born on August 15, 1931, and passed away peacefully on February 22, 2026, at Riverview Village Nursing Home in Clarksville, Indiana. Surrounded by her cherished loved ones, she departed this life leaving behind countless memories that will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew her.

Mary Ann was known for her kind, caring, and selfless nature; she consistently put the needs of others before her own. Her wonderful sense of humor and deep capacity for love endeared her to friends and family alike. A proud mother and grandmother, she devoted herself to caring for her family, which stood as one of her proudest accomplishments throughout her life.

Born in Louisville, she cultivated many interests, including a love for typing with a typewriter, shopping, and exploring garage and yard sales. These hobbies brought her not only joy but also provided opportunities to connect with her family and the community around her.

Mary Ann is survived by her son, Patrick Anderson; her granddaughter, Christina (Kevin) Pahl; her grandson, Mike Anderson; and her great-grandchildren: Brandi (Alex) Kessler, Michael Anderson, Kyle Anderson, and Lauren Anderson. Additionally, she was blessed with a great-great-grandson, Braxon Anderson, who will carry her legacy forward.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Anna Schultz, and her sister, Helen Perry, who have surely welcomed her with open arms once again.

Family and friends are invited to honor Mary Ann's life during visitation on February 26, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Newcomer Funeral Home, East Louisville, located at 235 Juneau Dr, Louisville, KY 40243. Following the visitation, a funeral service will commence at 11:00 AM, concluding with a graveside service at Jeffersontown Cemetery, located at 3702 Billtown Road, Louisville, KY 40299, which will begin at 12:30 PM.

Mary Ann Anderson will be dearly missed, but her loving spirit and the memories she created will remain forever in the hearts of all who loved her.
