Mary Michelle Anderson

Mary "Michelle" Leet Anderson, fondly known as Mom, Mimi and Shell, passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at the age of 68.  Michelle was born in Louisville, Kentucky on April 1, 1957 to the late Roger and Mary Leet.  She attended Waggener High School and the University of Louisville.  Michelle worked as an x-ray technician at several hospitals for many years.  She was a member of Highview Baptist Church and was a Bible study member.  

Michelle loved all her family, friends and co-worker get-togethers.  She loved roller skating, music (especially dance music and ZZTop), bunny rabbits, baby cheek kisses and just hanging out on her trips to Florida or Gulf Shores.

In addition to her parents, Michelle was preceded in death by her sister, Diane; and her first husband, Duncan Patrick.

Michelle is survived by her loving, heartbroken husband, David Anderson; her daughter and light of her life, Crystal Haydon (Daniel); Crystal and Daniel's children, Macy and Easton; David's children, Emily (Carmen), Amy (Rich), Molly and their children, Brooke, Cam, Ashton, Lydia, Logan, Hayes and Kennedy; sister, Karen Leet (Steve); brothers, Jim Leet (Sherrin) and Greg Leet (Penny); and many cousins, nieces and nephews;

A gathering to celebrate Michelle's life will be from 3pm to 6pm on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243.  Burial will take place privately at Calvary Cemetery.

Memorials may be made in Michelle's name to the American Cancer Society or Wayside Christian Mission.
