Marvin Lee Casey

August 20, 1953 — April 6, 2025

Marvin Lee Casey, aged 71, of Louisville, Kentucky, departed this life on Sunday, April 6, 2025. His presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.

Born on August 20, 1953, in Louisville, he was the cherished son of the late Robert and Rosalie (Light) Casey. In addition to his beloved parents, Marvin was preceded in death by his dear brothers, Mike and Alan Casey.

Marvin's enduring love and commitment to his family shone brightly throughout his life. He is survived by his devoted wife of 35 years, Tina Casey, alongside his stepdaughters, Shannon Clark and Amanda (Tony) Back. He took great pride in being a grandfather to Samantha Barnes (Eli Burton), Alison Back, Sabrina Back, Gracie Back, and Alora Back, as well as a great-grandfather to Ember Burton. He leaves behind a tapestry of cherished friendships, all of whom will hold his memory dear.

At his core, Marvin was a true gentleman. His heart was filled with love for his family, and he dedicated himself to providing for them in every way possible. A gifted craftsman, Marvin showcased his skills as a cabinet maker with Kitchen Kompact. During his leisure time, one could often find him playing his guitar or delighting in the company of his granddaughters, with whom he created countless beautiful memories. Marvin and Tina shared a bond that flourished over the years through mutual passions, notably fishing and line dancing—a shared love that began at the historic Colonial Gardens, where their journey together commenced 35 years ago.
