Martha Ann (Mccracken) Schepers

Martha Ann (McCracken) Schepers, 88, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Monday, March 1, 2021. She retired from Monroe Systems and was a longtime member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, where she participated in the Resurrection Choir. Martha enjoyed watching classic movies and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was born on September 16, 1932, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Leo and Myra (Butterman) McCracken. In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by her husband, David Schepers; son, Jeffrey Schepers; and siblings, Margie Hasken and Jesse McCracken.
Martha is survived by her children, Chris Schepers (Dona), Laura Duffy (Stephen), and Timothy Schepers; sister-in-law, Joyce McCracken; 9 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
A memorial mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 5, 2021, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church (1752 Scheller Lane, New Albany, IN 47150). She will be laid to rest privately with her husband at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
