Martha Frances Crain

Martha Frances "Frankie" Crain, age 96, of Louisville, passed away Monday, June 13, 2016. She was a Certified Accountant, worked in the WWII effort in California, enjoyed playing tennis and volunteered for the Red Cross. She was also a long-time volunteer at The Little Loomhouse, where she served on the Board of Directors as Treasurer and a term as President. She continued to volunteer as a teacher up until 2015. Frankie is preceded in death by her parents, John Lewis and Elizabeth Duncan Crain; and her brothers, John L. Crain, Jr. and Robert L. Crain.

Frankie is survived by her sister, Peggy M. Appling of Lexington, KY; and several nieces and nephews; and host of friends.

Services will be private. Frankie will be laid to rest beside her parents at Resthaven Memorial Park.
