Martha E. (Coffman) Croninger, 78, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2019. Martha was a member of Clarksville Church of Christ and the VFW Post 3281 Women's Auxiliary in New Albany. She enjoyed fishing and in her younger days was a nationally ranked sharpshooter. Above all of this, her greatest love was spending time with her grandchildren.
She was born on September 1, 1940, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late Harold and Sylvia Coffman. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Harry Albert Croninger; and brothers, Robert and James Coffman.
Martha is survived by her loving children, Kevin (Lisa) Croninger, Stephen (Deirdre) Croninger, and Tina (Barry) Herring; grandchildren, Amber (Pete) Chambers, Alyssa (Jared) Clark, Savannah Herring, Cameron Croninger, Timothy Edwards, Benjamin Edwards, and Brianna Davis; great-grandchildren, Reagan Chambers, Joseph Clark, Jackson Edwards, Lila Beth Chambers, Cecilia Clark, and Elijah Chambers; and sister, Helen Bostock.
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 1, 2019, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.
