Martha Frances Cox

Martha F. Cox, age 93 of Louisville, passed away on Monday, December 4, 2017. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who loved her family dearly. A wonderful cook and hostess who always made everyone feel welcome. She was our inspiration and our anchor and she will be dearly missed. She loved and served God and was a faithful member of the Simpsonville Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Warren Cox; her parents, Alex and Susie Fulghum; her sister Alexzene and her brother, Lynn.

Martha is survived by her son, Russell Cox (Vanessa); daughters, Linda James and Annette Schnatter (John); 6 grandchildren, Bill, Mike, Chris, Kristine, Danielle and Beau; 11 great-grandchildren; her sister, Joann Bashinsky; and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 11am-1pm Friday, December 8, 2017 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown, with a celebration of Martha's life at 1pm. Burial will follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
