Mark E. Pfaffenberger

Mark E. Pfaffenberger, age 74, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2025 in the care of Hospice.

Mark was born May 20, 1951 in Detroit, Michigan and lived most of his life in Kentucky. He was a graduate of Trinity High School and the University of Louisville School of Dentistry.

When Mark was younger he and his family lived in Illinois, California, Michigan, and Kentucky. He lived in Australia for several years and traveled to many countries on the trip back to the USA.

As a dentist he was compassionate and dedicated, as a friend he will be remembered for his contagious sense of humor. Mark had a passion for Harley Davidson Motorcycles, sports cars, coffee, and University of Louisville Basketball.

Mark is survived by his sisters Barbara Giacherio and June Pearce and his cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Helen Pfaffenberger, his brothers-in-law Joseph Giacherio and Ted Pearce, and his nephew Joey Giacherio.

A private service was held at Cave Hill Cemetery.
