Mark A. Pearl, a beloved companion, father, and friend, passed away on June 13, 2025, at the age of 67. He was born on October 28, 1957, in Galveston, Texas, and lived a life that was a testament to simplicity, love, and the joy found in everyday moments.
Mark dedicated many years of his professional life to Napa Auto Parts, where he retired after numerous years of service, cherished as a dependable colleague and friend. His easy-going and reserved personality drew people towards him, creating an atmosphere of comfort and warmth. Though he was a man of few words, his actions spoke volumes about his character—a gentle spirit whose love for his family was evident to all who loved him.
Mark found immense joy in the company of his life partner, Mary Lou Greenhagen, with whom he shared more than 40 wonderful years. Together, they filled their days with laughter, finding delight in watching Looney Tunes and the captivating tales of Ancient Aliens. Mark is survived by his loving daughter, Kimberly Cervantez, and his son, Nick Pearl. He embraced his role as a stepfather to David Greenhagen Jr. and Christopher Greenhagen with love and kindness.
He cherished those little moments spent with his adored dogs and took pleasure in working on his Dodge Chargers. Music was also a significant part of his life; in his earlier years, he could often be found playing his drums, sharing a rhythm that echoed in the hearts of those around him.
Mark is survived by his loving grandchildren; his brother, Charles Pearl; and sister, Beverly Harmon. He is predeceased by his parents, Orpha and Charles Pearl, and his sisters, Vickie Pearl and Mary Stevens.
