Mark Edward Nimmo
October 2, 1965 — May 6, 2017
Mark Edward Nimmo, 51, passed away on May 6, 2017. He worked as a medical assistant for 25 years Jewish Hospital and Kindred Hospital. He enjoyed volunteering at Wildlife In Need in Charlestown, IN working with the animals. He was a certified hunter safety instructor and was an avid fisherman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Agnes and Delvin Calvin Nimmo; grandparents, Mary Ann and Herman Nimmo and Richard and Alice Pack and fur babies, Nick and Freedom.
Mark is survived by his wife, Rosemary Nimmo; step son, Ben Monroe; brothers, Charles ( Linda) Nimmo, Darrel C. (Mary) Nimmo, and Greg (Cherie) Nimmo; nieces, Lisa Gray, Shannon Oaks, Andrea Downing and Sarah Tippit; nephews, Jeremiah Nimmo, Chuck Nimmo, Steven Nimmo and Adam Nimmo and numerous great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May, 9, 2017, from 2pm-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY). A celebration of Mark's life will be Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at the chapel of Newcomer Funeral Home beginning at 11am.
