August 3, 1944 — January 12, 2022

Mark Wilson Moran, II, 77, a longtime resident of Louisville, KY, passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at his home of a sudden illness. He was born in Pelham, Tennessee. Mark was a devoted husband and loving father. He was a gifted master carpenter, "Dad could fix or build anything." Mark was always there to lend a helping hand to family and neighbors.

Mark has now joined his wife Bet in Heaven. He is survived by his brother, Tom Kelly (Natalie) Moran; daughters, Terri Elizabeth Moran Sweeney, Jerri (Steve) Moran-Gentle and Karen Ann Moran; son Mark Wilson Moran, III; grandchildren, Dino Henon, Jr, Tausha (Josh) Henon Lister, Austin Moran, Kayla and Kati Martino, Tera and Kera Sweeney; 5 great-grandchildren, as well as many friends and extended family members all of who will cherish his memory.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, from 4pm-8pm with a celebration of Mark's life beginning at 6pm.
