Mark James Kennedy, 67, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2020. Mark was retired from the US Postal Service and Churchill Downs Pari-Mutuel Department.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Anna Kennedy; and his brother, Patrick J. Kennedy.

Mark is survived by his wife of 36 years, Patricia "Patty" Kennedy; brothers, David J. (Nancy) and John J. Kennedy; sister-in-law, Cathy Cagle; brother-in-law, Dennis Fielding (Jane); and numerous extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be on Sunday, January 12, 2019 at Newcomer Funeral Home (235 Juneau Drive) from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm. A funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 3:00 pm with cremation services to follow.
