Mark Anthony South

Mark Anthony "Tony" South, 39, passed away on October 9, 2015. He attended Mill Creek Elementary, Noe Middle School and Doss High School. He enjoyed playing basketball in school, he was a talented artist, enjoyed other sports and listening to music.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joe South; grandparents, the South's and Shaw's and aunts and uncles.

Tony is survived by his mother, Ruth A. (Terry) Worman; uncles, Morris (Darlene) Shaw of Glasgow and Thomas Shaw of Virginia; cousins, Jimmy Elmore and Judy Bulle; step-sister, Candace Worman of Louisville; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 15, 2015, from 1pm-8pm and Friday, October, 16, 2015, from 9am-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (10304 Dixie Highway). A celebration of Tony's life will be Saturday, October 17, 2015, beginning at 1pm. Burial will follow in Glasgow, Kentucky at Glasgow Cemetery beginning at 3pm (CST).
