Marjorie Nugent

Marjorie Nugent, 82, of Caneyville, KY passed away on December 4, 2015. Marjie was born in Athens, AL on January 23, 1933 to the late Fred and Catherine McGuire. She moved to Louisville at a young age, graduated from Louisville Girls High School, and worked as a bus driver for 19 years with Jefferson County Board of Education. Most recently, Marjie was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Leitchfield, KY.

In addition to her parents, Marjie was preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. Nugent. She is survived by her children, Richard Sattich, Ronnie Sattich, Tony Sattich, Darryl Nugent, Sheri Byrum (Mike), and Bobbi Grether (Kenny); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday, December 7, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40272). Funeral ceremony will be held Tuesday at 11:00 am at the funeral home with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
