Marjorie C. Hill, age 92 passed away Sunday, March 15, 2015. She was born in Millwood, Kentucky and was a graduate of the University of Louisville. She was a homemaker, a former Jefferson County Public School substitute teacher and very active in local quilting groups. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Hill, Sr.; and siblings, Fred Crawford, Jr, Gordon Crawford and Elizabeth Crawford.
Mrs. Hill is survived by her loving sons, George Hill, Jr. (Susan) and Crawford Hill (Brenda Ray); and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral ceremony will be 11am Friday, March 20, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive with burial in Floyd's Fork Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-8pm Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Kosair Charities.
