Marilyn Yvonne (Chastain) Prather, 82, of Greenville, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2020.
She was born on July 20, 1938, in Mitchell, Indiana, to the late Paul and Violet (Walton) Chastain. In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by her son, Michael Prather.
Marilyn is survived by her children, Eric Prather and Jan Rios (David); eight grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Cremation was chosen following Marilyn's wishes, and Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) was entrusted with her care.
