Marilyn W. Morton, 60, passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2017.
She is survived by her husband, Burnis Morton, Jr.; father, Paul A. Wilson, Sr.; son, James Summey and his wife Danielle and their children, Kanin and Kyler; brother, Paul A. Wilson, Jr.; and daughter, Jennifer Morton.
She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at American Legion Post 28. As a butterfly emerges into a beautiful thing, so it is Marilyn emerges into God's arms.
Visitation will be from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 13, 2017, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at Newcomer Funeral Home with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
