Maria De Los Angeles Rovira Sanchez, 72, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2021.
She was born on August 16, 1948 to the late Raul Rovira and Caridad Sanchez in Santiago De Cuba, Cuba.
Maria is survived by her daughter, Nadezhda Romero (Sigmund Fernandez); granddaughters, Denisse Fernandez, Laura Fernandez, Adriana Fernandez; siblings, Pedro Rovira, Xiomara Rovira, Raquel Farinas, Raysi Rovira, and Patricio E. Gonzalez.
Visitation will be from 11:45 am to 12:45 pm on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Newcomer Funeral Home, East Chapel (235 Juneau Drive). A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:30 pm on Wednesday, at the St. Rita Catholic Church ( 8709 Preston Hwy) with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery in Louisville.
The family requests that contributions in Maria's memory be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
