Maria Bronwyn Ferguson Pieper passed away peacefully on December 12, 2018, at the age of 49 after a long illness.
She was born on August 16, 1969 in Charleston, West Virginia to Jerry and Janice Ferguson.
She is survived by husband, Joseph Pieper; maternal grandmother, Lucy Smoot; parents, Jerry and Janice Ferguson; daughter, Stephanie (Darryl II) Ayo; son, Michael Ferguson; daughter, Kristina (Sylvester) Brooks; brother, Jerry Ferguson II; five grandsons; two nieces and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions East Chapel (235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY 40243), followed by a funeral service to honor the life of Maria to follow at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Calvary Cemetery.
The family requests that contributions in Maria's memory be made to Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church (11744 MacCorkle Ave Chesapeake, WV, 25315) Ferguson Foundation, C/O Deacon Thomas Hill.
