Marguerite W. Twyman

Marguerite Willis Twyman, 97, of Huguenot descent, passed away peacefully on April 11 after a short illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marguerite and Louis Willis, her husband of 63 years, Harry Kenneth Twyman, her Son, Bart Twyman and her Sister, Dorothy Phillips (Des). She was the proud member of the DAR., The Current Events Club of Jeffersontown and her time as Secretary to the Commandant of The Kentucky Military Institute and her work with the Louisville Orchestra. She leaves to cherish her memory her nieces, Sharon Lewis and Sheila Acree , nephew, Louis Phillips and numerous grand nieces and nephews and her dear friend and care-giver, Beverly Ross.

Cremation was chosen with a private burial at Resthaven Cemetery. A Memorial Service will be held in the Community Room of the Sam Swope Care Center at Masonic Home on Sunday, April 23 at 2:00.
