Margie Jean (Davis) Skaggs

Margie Jean (Davis) Skaggs, of Mauckport, Indiana, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2026. Born on January 5, 1953 in Louisville, Kentucky, Margie was the daughter of Robert Cantrell.

Margie is survived by her loving sons, Bobby DeVore (Cindy) and Jamie Priddy (Barbara), and her brother, Jim Davis (Sue). In addition to her father, Margie was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Louis Skaggs.

She enjoyed tending to her flowers and working out in her garden. Margie liked cooking delicious meals and loved seeing her family happy. She was also very fond of her dog, Dakota.

Margie's wish was to be cremated and Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) was entrusted with her care.
