Margaret Joann (Aikens) Tauscher

Margaret Tauscher, 88, of New Albany, Indiana, died on January 24, 2018.
She was born on July 3, 1929, in Oak Park, Illinois, to Evelyn and Aiko Aikens. She was a member of the Honor Society and graduate of Proviso Township High School in Maywood, Illinois. Besides being a devoted wife and mother, she worked for the University of Arizona and volunteered at many libraries during her life. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Louisville, Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Gerald Tauscher, and her son, Steven; and is survived by sons, David and Thomas Tauscher. She is also survived by three granddaughters, a grandson, and a great-granddaughter.
A Graveside Service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 30, 2018, at Cave Hill Cemetery in Louisville Kentucky.
