Margaret Ann Spink, lovingly known to friends and family as “Maggie,” passed away on June 23, 2026, in the embrace of those who cherished her most, after a brave battle with Pancreatic Cancer. Born on September 15, 1947, in Louisville, Kentucky, Maggie’s journey on this earth was marked by grace, warmth, and an enduring strength that touched every life she encountered.
Maggie’s heart was rooted deeply in family. She was the beloved wife of Chester Spink, whose companionship and devotion were her steadfast supports throughout their years together. Their love was a foundation for family and friends alike, and together they weathered both joy and trials with unwavering resolve.
Her children were her pride and life’s greatest blessings. She is survived by her son, Michael Spink, and her daughter, Susan Spink, each of whom carries forward her gentle spirit and nurturing heart. Maggie’s love for her children knew no bounds and was matched only by the strength she showed as a mother.
Maggie’s tightly knit family included her sisters, Mary Rae Mattingly and Paula Sweatman, who will forever remember her laughter, her kindness, and the countless heartfelt conversations they shared. Her sister-in-law, Bonnie Spink, was also a cherished companion on life’s path, sharing in Maggie’s love for family and the bonds that unite.
She is welcomed into eternal peace by those who went before her: her devoted parents, Raymond and Mary Ann Froman; her beloved son, Steve Spink; her brother, John Froman; and her sister, Ellen Briscoe. Their memories remained alive in Maggie’s heart, and now she is reunited with them, embraced in their love once more.
Maggie’s journey was marked by devotion, faith, and generosity. She uplifted those around her with her gentle guidance and unwavering support, leaving a legacy of compassion and resilience. Her capacity to listen, to care, and to comfort made her the center of her family’s universe and a treasured friend to many.
To all who knew and loved her, the void left by Maggie’s passing is immeasurable, but her legacy remains—in every shared story, in every gentle reminder of her care, and in the enduring bonds she forged. Her courage through illness was a testament to her incredible strength and the love she had for her family.
