Margaret Rose Reed

Margaret Rose Reed, 74, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024. Margaret loved cooking, playing cards, watching crime shows and making late night runs to White Castle with her friends. She loved her family dearly and especially enjoyed playing with her grandson.

She was born on April 8, 1949, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Herbert Clifford and Alma Hardy Clifford. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Frank Reed Sr.; son, Paul Russell Hartfield, Jr.; sister, Pat; and brothers, Tommy and Herbie.

Margaret is survived by her son, Bryan (Savahanna) Reed; grandchildren, Autumn, Tommy, Nathan, and Bryan; sisters, Mary and Aletha; and brother, Buster.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Friday, March 15, 2024, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
