Margaret "Pearl" Kathleen Huber, a beloved matriarch and cherished member of her community, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2025, in New Albany, Indiana. Born on November 7, 1929, in Floyds Knobs, Indiana, Pearl was a vibrant spirit whose life was defined by her unwavering love for family, her work, and the many joys she pursued.
Pearl's journey included various jobs, but her longest and most cherished position was that of "Produce Quality Control" at Joe Huber's Farms, where she dedicated nearly 20 years of her life working beside family and making new friends. She truly enjoyed working at Joe Huber's and interacting with customers.
An education at the Academy of the Immaculate Conception and her graduation from New Albany High School laid the foundation for Pearl's rich and fulfilling life. She was known not just for her accomplishments, but for the laughter and love she spread wherever she went. Her warm smile and generous heart brought comfort and joy to those around her.
Pearl devoted herself wholeheartedly to her family, often proclaiming them as her proudest accomplishment. She derived immeasurable joy from spending time with her children-daughters Vicki (Jerry) Russell, Theresa (Tim) Rapp, Sandy (Billy) Dolan, Kathy Huber, and son Danny (Laurie) Huber. With her 14 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren, Pearl's legacy of love continues to grow with each new generation.
Pearl's joyous spirit was mirrored in her interests and hobbies, which included fishing, horse racing, gardening, playing cards, and attending church picnics and bingo. She loved taking little adventurous car rides. Dancing was also one of her life enjoyments. Her passions filled her days with joyful moments and treasured memories.
