Margaret Mayfield Thompson, age 87 passed away July 16, 2011 after a long illness. She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene J. Thompson and daughter Donna Jean Thompson.
Margaret is survived by her three sons, Nick (Nancy), Roger (Carolyn) and David Thompson; sisters Dorothy McDaniel, Edith Collins; brothers, Joe Jr. (Doris), Roy and Raymond (Sharon) Mayfield; and several grandchildren.
Funeral ceremony will be 1:00 pm Thursday, July 21, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation at the funeral home will be 2-8pm on Wednesday and after 11:00 a.m. Thursday until time of service.
