Margaret Ann Lane
August 31, 1939 — January 3, 2017
Margaret Ann "Margie" Lane, 77, of Louisville, passed away on January 3, 2017. Margie was born in Louisville on August 31, 1939 to the late Leonard and Phyllis (Gowers) Pippin. She was a member at Southeast Christian Church and worked at McDonald's on Old Shepherdsville Road, where she made many friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Lane and a sister, Norma Campbell. She leaves three sons, Ronnie Cary, Dale Cary, and Darrell Cary; two brothers, Lanny Pippin and Terry Pippin; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Monday, January 9, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, East Louisville Chapel (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243) with visitation at the funeral home from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm Sunday. Burial at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery - Central in Radcliff, KY will follow services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
