Margaret J. (Daw) Halas, 80, of Greenville, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2018.
She was born on August 20, 1937, in Faison, North Carolina, to the late Thadeus and Katie (Hare) Daw. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her infant daughter, Michelle; siblings, William Lane, Kenneth Daw, Letha Godfrey, Gracie Bass and Billy Lane.
Margaret is survived by her husband of 63 years, James J. Halas; daughter, Vikki Halas; son, James R. Halas (Connie); brothers, Roy Daw and JT Daw; sisters, Virginia Connelly-Daw and Louann Bell; grandchildren, Kelsey, Jennifer, Jaime and Julee; great-grandchildren, Sophia and Marshall.
Her Memorial Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 3, 2018, at St. Mary Navilleton Catholic Church (7500 Navilleton Road, Floyds Knobs, Indiana 47119). Cremation was chosen following Margaret's wishes.
