Margaret Daniel Berman

With profound sadness we announce the passing of Margie our loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to all whose lives she touched. On September 15, 2019 she left us while sleeping peacefully at St. Matthews Care Center in Louisville, Ky. She was in her 78th year.

Such a tough cookie she spent her years as a dedicated assembly worker prior to her retirement at General Electric Co. A farm girl at heart, horses, gardening and fine foods were just some of her loves throughout life.

Our hearts are broken and we will miss her dearly, but we feel blessed to have had her in our lives and know that she is now with her parents James and Helen, her brother James Daniel II, Carol Daniel, and nephew James Daniel III

Those of us left behind will always be grateful for her fun and loving spirit: son, Eric Berman Sr. (Kristi Berman), her daughter, Kathrin Adams, (Tracy) (James Shipp), her grandchildren Eric Berman Jr., and Reid Berman, her niece Joy Daniel and children Mariah Marino and Nathan Merino.

She was a devoted cat lover and the blessed lives of many rescued cats had a healthier, safer and happier life because of her.

A celebration of Margie's life will be held at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions-Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy. Louisville, KY), on September 21, 2019 from 1:00-3:00pm.
