Margaret Ann (Knight) Wilmoth, 70, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on Monday, December 28, 2015. She was born on October 11, 1945 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Walter J. and Pernie T. (Ennis) Knight. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Roy "Smokey" Knight, Gene Knight, Walter Lloyd Knight, Billy Knight, and Helen "Sissy" Spencer.
Margaret is survived by her daughters, Debbie Wilmoth, Missy Legel (Joe), Patty Burnett; sister-in-law, Jean Knight; grandchildren, Haley Wilmoth, Bradley Burnett, Thomas Duncan, Heidi Burnett; great-grandchildren, Kyla, Xoe, Preston, and Raelin.
Visitation will be from 11 AM to 1 PM Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with a Memorial Service take place at 1 PM. Cremation was chosen following Margaret's wishes.
Her family would like to thank Dr. Heimer; Dr. Chowhan, nurses and staff at The Cancer Care Center of Southern Indiana; Nurses and CNA's at Floyd Memorial Hospital; LaTonya, Larry and Miss Debbie at Home Away from Home and Hosparus for the wonderful care of our mother over this past year and a thank you to all our family and friends for their prayers, love and support.
Contributions in Margaret's memory may be made to the Floyd County Humane Society (P.O. Box 1134, New Albany, IN 47151-1134).
