Marcus Juanell Griffin

Marcus J. Griffin, 55, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2020. Marcus enjoyed being in the ministry and he enjoyed working with his brothers and sisters. He enjoyed walking on the bridge, making people laugh, and always a smile on his face. He was a big sports fan but his favorite teams were the Dallas Cowboys and the Lakers.

He was born on August 23, 1965 in Louisville, Kentucky to Naple and Carolyn (Maddox) Griffin. He is preceded in death by his father, Naple Griffin and Sister, Carol (Abdoulaye) Hann.

Marcus is survived by his loving family, mother, Carolyn L. Gaines; son, Marcus D. Sublett and daughter, Martina L. Griffin; siblings, Mona L. Flippins, Precious Stallings, and Paul Mullins; grandparents, Lady Ruth Griffin and Dawson Nannie Maddox. As well as a host of family and friends to cherish his loving memory forever.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions all service will be private.
