Marcus Christopher Hayden

Marcus Christopher Hayden, 50, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on July 26, 2016, at Baptist East Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. Marcus was born in Adelaide, Australia, on August 26, 1965, to Larry and Gisela (Poes) Hayden. He was a graduate of Jeffersonville High School and attended the University of Adelaide, with 2 degrees in computer science, and was employed by Johnson Controls in Louisville, Kentucky.

He is survived by his loving mother, Gisela (Poes) Hayden of Australia; his father, Larry Hayden (Shirley) of Charlestown, Indiana; sister, Leanne Hall (Bob); and nephew, Bobby Hall; along with many aunts and uncles and several cousins.

His visitation will be on Monday, August 1, 2016, from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 2016, at Newcomer Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m., with visitation before from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.
