Marcella Elizabeth Watson, 71, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022.
She was born on August 16, 1950 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Richard and Pinkie (Trowell ) Watson. She is preceded in death by her brothers Harold Ray Watson, Eric D. Watson, sister Phyllis A. (Watson) Carson and niece Sonya Elizabeth Stigall.
Marcella is survived by her son Gerald Lee Jacobs, daughter, Richella Jenee' Jacobs, grandchildren DeMarcus, Treyvon, La'Kyla, Brielle, Jordan, Joslyn, Braxton, Landon, brothers, Richard N. Watson (Pricilla S.), Leonard C. Watson, Sr. (Patricia M.) and sister Lenora L. Walker (Floyd R.). She is also survived by nieces and nephews, LaTosha, Leonard Jr., Lucretia, Kimberly and Chelsea and longtime friend and father of her children Gerald Wayne Jacobs.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 pm on Monday, January 24, 2022 at Newcomer Cremation, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY 40243) with burial to follow at Taylortown Cemetery.
The family requests that contributions in Marcella's memory be made to the family in the name of Richella Jenee' Jacobs.
