Marcella Jane Wilson

Marcella Jane Wilson, 71, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on April 8, 2016. She was a caregiver and she loved her grandkids.

Marcella was born on September 23, 1944, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Lovell and Talus (Mattingly) Goff. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, John Wilson Sr. and 10 siblings.

Marcella is survived by her sons, John Wilson Jr., Charles (Tara) Wilson, Terry Wilson; daughters, Kimberly (Tommy) Flood, Michelle (Sean Sheehan) Wilson, and April (Roger) Caswell; sisters, Nancy Keith and Georgia Brown; grandchildren, Kelly Davis, Derek Flood, Rachel Wilson, C.J. Wilson, Cassie Wilson, Landon Caswell, Kate Wilson, Taylor Traud, Brayden Caswell, Leland Caswell; and great-grandchildren, Emily Githens, Ryan Githens, and Karson Davis.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville). Her Funeral Ceremony will be held Friday, April 15, 2016 at 10:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home - East Louisville with burial to follow at St. Stephen's Cemetery (1808 S. Preston St., Louisville).

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
