Marc Baum

Marc David Baum was born on April 19, 1955 in Grand Rapids, MI. He was the son of Howard and Jo Ann (Adams) Baum.

He was raised in Louisville, KY and has resided in Lexington, IN for the last 23 years.

He is survived by his companion Joyce Consley of Lexington, IN; sons Justin (Amy) Baum of Lexington, KY; Corey (Kim Castle) Baum of Louisville, KY; and Brian (Rebecca) Consley of Scottsburg, IN; daughter Amy (Consley) (Dan) Hill of Scottsburg, IN; two beautiful granddaughters Klaire Baum and Kennedie Erby of Lexington, KY; one sister Connie Dunaway of Louisville, KY; and a niece and nephew.

He was a 1974 graduate of Westport High School. He dedicated 40 years of hard work to JBS Louisville. He also enjoyed volunteering with the Southwestern Volleyball team for the last 12 years. Over the years, he coached all of his children and their friends in baseball and softball.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Friday, June 22, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY 40243).

His funeral ceremony will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 11:00 am at the funeral home with burial to follow at Sharon Hill Cemetery in Lexington, Indiana.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Gastric Cancer Foundation.
