Mamie Smith, 89, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on June 22, 2017. She retired after 29 years of service from AT&T and was a Baptist by faith.
She was born on March 19, 1928 in Adair County, Kentucky to the late Marvin and Cecil (Curry) Cravens. She was also preceded in death by her husband James Smith.
Mamie is survived by son, Dennis (Glenda) Smith, daughter, Susan Curry, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm on Monday, June 26, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville 40243) with burial to follow at Resthaven Cemetery (4400 Bardstown Road Louisville, KY 40218).
