Majorie P. Tallent, 93, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, September 6, 2021.
Majorie was worked for JCPS for over 25 years. She was a member of The Eastern Star.
She was born on December 9, 1927 in Albany, Kentucky to James and Gladys Branhan Burchett.
She is preceded in death by her Son, Norman Ray Tallent, Son, Jeffery D. Tallent, Sister, Frances K. Carpenter, Sister, Wilma Riddle, and her parents.
Majorie is survived by her Son, Wendell Owen Tallent, Daughter, Majorie Tallent Kime (John), Brother, Kenneth Burchett (Margaret), Brother, Wendell David Burchett; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and extended family members.
Visitation will be from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm on Monday, September 13, 2021 at Newcomer Cremation, Funerals & Receptions-East Louisville Chapel, (235 Juneau Dr.). Her Funeral Service will be at on Monday, at the funeral home with burial to follow at St. Michael Cemetery in Louisville.
