Maggie Lee Davis, 96, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2020. She was born on July 7, 1923 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late George and Mary Thompson.

In addition to her parents, Maggie is preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Davis and her children, Mary Emma Harding, Alex Holt and Richard Holt.

Left to cherish her memory is her children Barbara Jean (Herbert) James, June Alice (Julius) Nathaniel, Christina (Ulysses) Sneed, Vernita (Bobby) Johnson, Michael Angelo (Fayetta) Holt, Charles E. (Melissa) Davis, Eva Marie Glenn; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 12:30 pm on Saturday, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Green Meadows Cemetery.
